Do you speak fluent Welsh and have a passion for helping children thrive? Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behavioural Mentor to join our team, supporting pupils with learning and behavioural difficulties in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
About the Role:
As a Behavioural Mentor, you'll support pupils in mainstream classrooms and resource bases, fostering their academic and emotional development. Your role will include:
• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Supporting pupils to manage emotions and behaviour effectively.
• Creating a safe and encouraging environment for learning and growth.
• Delivering tailored one-on-one and small-group interventions.
What We're Looking For:
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviour with empathy and understanding.
• An engaging and positive communication style.
• Passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve success.
Requirements:
• Fluent Welsh speaker.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Two professional references.
• Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this).
• EWC registration (support provided).
No Experience? No Problem!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
