Global Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Execute a customer-focused operations strategy aligned with the overall Business Line Analytical strategy, developed in accordance with the Division/Business Area global strategy. Be accountable for delivering KPIs in line with ABB expectations and targets for manufacturing operations, including safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. Ensure the effective deployment of ABB’s quality strategy, overseeing quality assurance and control, and implementing an integrated quality management system. Responsible for on-time project execution, delivering project EBIT and cash flow. Achieve financial performance KPIs such as Revenues, Profit, and Cash Flow. Define and deliver rolling forecasts for CapEx and OpEx expenses. Ensure a sustainable and effective value chain from supplier to customer and from order to delivery (products, projects, and services). Manage procurement and logistics strategies and project execution from order to service. Develop and improve business processes and procedures, ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Manage operational risks and continually improve the reliability and effectiveness of business operations.
Qualifications for the role
* Extensive experience in a senior management role within manufacturing or a relevant industry.
* Experience managing a department across multiple sites.
* Exceptional leadership and motivation skills to guide senior management to high performance.
* Proven site management experience.
* Strong problem-solving and contingency planning skills, with the ability to find quick, innovative, and practical solutions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
* Strong consultancy, delegation, and relationship management skills.
* Project management expertise.
* Advocate for Health & Safety and Integrity.
* Financial acumen with a successful track record in leading a site.
