Freelance Part Time Accounts Assistant (Remote)
Our client, a specialist charity, is seeking an experienced Part Time Accounts Assistant on a freelance basis.
Previous practice experience is ideally required, knowledge of the charity sector accounting processes is essential, and the successful candidate must also be an expert in Xero, ideally Xero Certified.
The Offer:
* £17 per hour
* Remote working
* Part-Time hours working up to 10 hours per month - flexibility to scale up or down on these hours (paid at the hourly rate) and also on the time in the month these will be needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Bookkeeping and accounts assistant duties involving reconciliations, analysis, and supporting the production of reports/accounts and ad hoc requests.
* Xero training and developmental work - will need to be a super user of Xero and support all aspects of rolling out training, creating reports and automations, and interfacing with banking systems and any other work required.
* Support the Finance Manager with any requests in relation to audits or any requirements as the organisation transitions on.
* Attend meetings via Teams as needed.
* Any other tasks to support as needed.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in a similar role.
* Seeking a suitable candidate with their own equipment, with Xero installed, to work remotely and be flexible with availability - (please note that MacBooks do not interface with our client's systems). The successful candidate will be given access for remote working to SharePoint, Xero, Teams, and email.
* Practice experience is a distinct advantage.
* Previous charity sector experience preferred.
