Your Tasks
1. Verify, update, and reconcile inventory information using a computerised records system.
2. Maintain inventory records of all goods issued and receipts by adding or deleting items as they are issued or received.
3. Advise the Assistant Stores Controller or Stores Controller of stock discrepancies and shortages, maintain stock at agreed levels.
4. Control and issue inventory and process and maintain inventory records.
5. Maintain a professional, polite and courteous manner whilst dealing with internal and external customers.
6. Promote a high level of quality and safety within the department.
7. Help maintain storage of goods in an efficient and safe manner.
Our Requirements
8. Forklift truck counter balance and reach experience is preferred however training can be provided.
9. Reasonable standard of secondary education.
10. Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
11. Knowledge of SAP MM modules preferred.
12. Experience in an engineering stores related role is preferred.
13. Working safely is a priority.
14. Well organised, efficient, personable and have a good, confident telephone manner.
15. Able to follow written procedures and processes.
16. Able to work 12 hour shifts, Days/Nights.
17. To support the continued operation of the department with shift and planned maintenance on a 24hr/365day basis.
