The role: Student Ambassador

Are you a current QAHE student looking to gain experience and develop your skills?
Our Student Ambassadors act as positive role model to give a first-hand view of the benefits of higher education and represent their university at a variety of different events and locations on both campus and at external events. They will directly work with our current students, prospective students, as well as teams across QA Higher Education.
Job purpose:
Work in partnership with our Student Relations Officers and Student Services teams on-an ad-hoc basis. Act as a positive student role-model, promoting studies at QAHE to new and potential students.
About You:
You should be willing to attend and be involved with student organisations and activities, have good verbal, written communication and organisational skills, then this could be the role for you.
A ‘day in the life’ of a Student Ambassador
1. Meet and greet students attending events, social clubs and activities
2. Complete campus tours
3. Assistant students with their enrolment and Induction
4. Informal mentoring, sharing local knowledge with new students
5. Carry out basic administrative duties
