Job summary The Specialty Medicine Directorate are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Waiting List Officer to support the Directorate across three sites. The successful candidate will be required to work on their own initiative and demonstrate excellent communication & analytical skills. A good understanding of the principles of Referral to Treatment Time (RTT) is required and an empathetic approach to customer care. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for the validation of Referral to Tratment Time (RTT) pathways and Follow Up Not Booked (FUNB) performance. The post holder will update the WPAS system to reflect accurate patient pathways. The post holder will assist the Directorate Management Team by monitoring targets in RTT, Cancer, FUNB and Medicine Performance, escalating issues appropriately.
