We have an exciting permanent social work opportunity with a local authority in North Yorkshire. It's a very exciting time to join the local authority as they continue to lead the way and invest in the transformation of children services through their "Believe in Families" programme.
They're looking for passionate and motivated individuals to help them achieve their ambition and in return are offering a fantastic benefits package to Social Workers interested in positions within the Safeguarding & Planning Teams.

1. Salary: £35,000 - £45,416
2. Relocation package: Up to £8,000
3. Pension contribution: 11.5%, worth over £5,000 annually

Responsibilities:
10. Work with families within Children in Need and Child Protection
11. Work collaboratively with families to support them to make changed to ensure that their children are safe and their needs are met
12. Court Work
13. Support children who become cared for by the local authority who have a looked after care plan
To be considered for a role within the Safeguarding & Planning Team, ideally you will have:
14. BSc in Social Work or equivalent
15. Social Work England registration
16. At least 1 year of experience within a similar children's social work setting
