Our Quality Department provides group wide services to McAleer & Rushe Contracts UK Ltd and extended groups. Reporting to the Quality Director, as Quality Manager your role will include the development and implementation of the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System, assistance with project specific quality inspection and test plans, and carrying out regular Quality audits. The Quality Manager will collaborate with our project teams to ensure high standards are maintained.
Main Responsibilities
* Support development of the company’s internal ISO 9001 accredited quality management system.
* Develop and implement a company-wide standardised management approach for project quality control, to include providing advice in the development of project ITPs.
* Provide technical quality-related advice and support to project teams and supply chain.
* Plan and conduct regular audits of project quality control practices and documentation.
* Monitor quality performance and trends and identify company-wide preventative actions.
* Participate in post-project reviews and lessons-learned exercises.
* Develop continuous improvement practices including Quality alerts, communication, and knowledge sharing.
* Support development and upskilling of key supply chain partners to achieve greater operational efficiency.
* Provide quality-related training, briefings, and CPD materials to support staff development.
* Monitor the project performance in completion of corrective & preventative actions and closure of NCR’s.
* Prepare quality performance data and reports for senior management.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement in relation to Quality.
Education/Experience
* Third level degree qualification in a relevant engineering and construction discipline.
* At least 5 years experience of working within Construction.
* Available to travel throughout the UK.
* Desirable - A member of a professional body e.g. CIOB, RICS etc.
* Desirable - A chartered Quality professional.
* Desirable - Experience & knowledge of working with Aconex and RDrive (SnagR).
* Flexibility with regards to site location within the UK & Ireland.
