Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Manager with a proven track record in driving social media strategies for B2C brands. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and growing social media presence across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) in a fast-paced environment. You will lead the development and execution of social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and customer acquisition, while managing a growing team and collaborating across departments to align on objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, execute, and optimise social media strategies across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to achieve business objectives such as brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
· Create and oversee content plans, ensuring content is aligned with brand messaging, resonates with target audiences, and engages effectively with followers.
· Lead and manage a team of social media specialists, providing mentorship and direction in content creation, community management, and campaign execution.
· Monitor, track, and analyse social media performance using key metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI), adjusting strategies to improve performance.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and relevant.
· Manage social media crisis communication and resolve any potential issues quickly and effectively, protecting the brand's reputation.
· Ensure compliance with social media advertising regulations, platform policies, and best practices.
· Provide regular reporting to senior leadership, highlighting performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
Key Requirements:
· Proven experience in managing social media strategies for a fast-paced B2C brand, with a strong understanding of each platform's strengths and nuances (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
· A creative mindset with the ability to craft compelling, on-brand content and campaigns that engage and resonate with the target audience.
· Solid understanding of social media metrics, including engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI, and the ability to optimise campaigns for maximum results.
· Ability to analyse data and use insights to make data-driven decisions that drive strategy and performance.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging copy and communicate across teams.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities and teams.
· A strong understanding of legal and compliance issues related to social media and advertising (e.g., GDPR, platform guidelines).
