National Grid is hiring a Senior Project Information Manager for our Strategic Infrastructure (SI) department, this is a hybrid role based out of Warwick. The Senior Project Information Manager provides expertise and support to Digitalisation & IM (D&IM) Lead in definition and implementation of information management framework and Common Data Environment for SI off-shore in line with ISO 19650 standards. The role will plan and oversee transition of existing projects into new CDE environment and processes, mange training and embedment of new information management processes into BAU. Key Accountabilities The role carries responsibility for ensuring that the IM Framework, based on ISO 19650, can be implemented practically through a systems environment, processes and IM Standards, Procedures and guidance which are to be put in place to ensure the GGP Programme and off-shore projects has a consistent IM delivery practice across the current and future projects. This involves: Working in support of the D&IM Lead in liaising with existing or newly started projects to understand IM requirements and existing standards. Working in support of the D&IM Lead to define information requirements framework and approach for definition and evolution throughout the lifecycle support transition to new ways of working once established. Support verification of the capabilities of the IM systems needed for the Common Data Environment and requirements gaps to be filled, along with developing the configuration documentation to support and management changes. Reviewing IM capability and systems which already exist within the National Grid and within partner organizations and its ability to service the off-shore projects and GGP Programme and align with ISO 19650. Prepare technical documentation (updating existing and shared best practice where available) for provision of IM framework and services (e.g. EIR, Information Standards, Deliverables Management Procedures and standard templates) About You Significant experience acting as Project Information Manager as related to ISO 19650 on major projects, including client-side support and roles. Significant IM experience and application of ISO 19650 Information Management framework on projects, including definition of information requirements for asset lifecycle. Knowledge of risk, opportunities and benefits evaluation in IM BIM delivery Excellent understanding of quality management systems and implementing processes related to ISO19650 on Common Data Environments, along with MIDP and TIDP production and management Ability to specify and manage configuration of Common Data Environment System and, including testing and alignment of ISO 19650 workflows and metadata requirements Extensive experience in Digital Engineering Solutions related to Infrastructure delivery on large scale projects and programmes, including development of EIR and BEP documentation for delivery across the project lifecycle, and assessing / reviewing the same. Ability to specify and manage configuration of Common Data Environment System and, including testing and alignment of ISO 19650 workflows and metadata requirements Thorough understanding of the application and assessment of COBie and IfC standards to information delivery requirements and deliverables. Qualifications Higher education in IM or related field such as Engineering, Surveying or IT Working towards chartership with a professional body such as the RICS, ICE, British Computing Society or similar ISO 19650 / BS1192 competence Proficiency with CDE platform (ACC, SharePoint, others) and ISO 19650 implementation What You'll Get A competitive salary between £58,000 – £74,916 – dependent on capability As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
