We have an exciting position available for a Head Nurse to join our friendly and progressive small animal veterinary practice in leafy Twickenham. You will be leading the nursing team at the practice. Your day-to-day duties include ensuring the smooth running of the clinical day, overseeing and running of nurse consults, anaesthesia, supporting our Clinical Director and Practice Manager, and general support and development of the practice. You will help to grow and develop the nursing team and manage the rota including return to work and holiday requests.
You will see a varied SA caseload. We encourage growth and development both individually and collectively within our team. We would welcome CPD requests to fund certificates and other additional learning and skill development. You will ideally be a clinical coach or be open to becoming one.
Fix or flex – work life balance that works for you
This is a full-time working Monday to Friday with no weekends and no OOH. Shifts are usually 8 am – 4:30 pm or 11 am – 7:30 pm. We are happy to consider flexible working patterns and part-time applicants.
