A secondary school in RCT is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work within their specialist Challenging Behaviour Base. This role involves supporting students with complex behavioural needs, helping them engage in learning and develop positive coping strategies. The Role: ✅ Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with challenging behaviours. ✅ Implement behaviour management strategies to support learning and development. ✅ Build positive relationships with students, acting as a mentor and role model. ✅ Assist in delivering tailored interventions to support emotional regulation. ✅ Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a safe and structured learning environment. Requirements: Previous experience working with challenging behaviour (education, youth work, care, or similar). Strong communication, patience, and resilience. Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one). EWC registration (Teaching Personnel can assist with this). Why Join Us?
