Connex Education are currently working in partnership with a successful SEN School in Belper which is part of a larger trust.
About The School
The school is part of a large trust which has specialist SEN schools all around the country and specializes in Secondary Education needs.
Assignment Details
The start date of the role would be in September 2025 with a two-year placement within the school. The role would involve up to 6 hours a week of tutoring within the school, with groups no bigger than 3 pupils. The timetable is still being developed, but further information will be available once registration is completed.

As a successful qualified teacher, you will need the following:
* Have QTS Status or equivalent qualification.
* Be confident in your ability to lead a class of children aged 11-18 years.
* Be able to work well with challenging behaviour.
* Hold strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
* Willing to undergo continual professional training.
* Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’.
* Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour.
* Be able to commute around Belper.
