We are a Federation of two Outstanding schools for pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, some with associated autism. Manor Mead is our Primary School for 4-11 year old's in Shepperton with a satellite provision in Virginia Water; our Secondary School is Walton Leigh, for 11-19 year old's. We are looking for someone at our Virginia Water Site who will be responsible for general site maintenance, gardening, security, portering, supervision of cleaning and management of contractors. The school promotes professional development of its staff and training will be provided to learn and enhance skills. To provide the highest standards of maintenance (including certain technical and administration duties) of the buildings and site; to minimise risks to the health and safety of those using the school site; to contribute towards the Governing Body’s objectives of achieving greater value for money. The ideal candidate will:
- be flexible with a sense of humour
- have an understanding of working in a school environment - have a good standard of maintenance experience - have a good level of health and safety experience - be committed to receiving further training Salary: S5 Pro Rata £10,875 (Full Time Equivalent £26,101) Hours: 15 hours per week.
