Dolby Vivisol are currently hiring for a Device and Plant Maintenance Supervisor in our Stirling plant. We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team to lead the servicing technician team who are carrying out the testing, repairing and maintenance of all medical devices on site. We offer a generous package including; 33 days holiday (including BH), excellent training and development programs, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, yearly bonus scheme, as well as a starting salary of £30,000-£35,000.
This position is based in our Stirling plant, working 40 hours per week.
The ideal candidate must have previous management or leadership experience, as well as electrical/mechanical engineering experience.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Managing the testing, repairing, and cleaning of medical device equipment
* Planning the allocation of resources across the team ensuring efficient throughout of devices meeting daily demand for devices and service intervals
* Implementing preventative maintenance programs extending maintenance life and minimising downtime
* Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues quickly and effectively
* Maintaining knowledge of calibration and equipment maintaining operational standards
* Reporting to the respective Site Manager with close communication/accountability to Technical Maintenance Manager, liaising and problem solving any issues impacting medical device equipment, safety, production plant and equipment, and associated quality and logistics
* Ensuring equipment meets manufacturer and technical standards suitable for use by patients
* Ensuring Service Technicians are trained, internally and externally, meeting business needs
* Documenting service reports fully
* Ensuring the Health & Safety/welfare of yourself and fellow colleagues by following company Information Security, HR, as well as Health and Safety guidelines and policies
* Coordinating and liaising with 3rd party contractors enabling both repairs, maintenance, and compliance checks on respective Fill plant equipment
Required candidate experience:
* Formal qualification in a technical discipline in Mechanical/Electrical Engineers (i.e. ONC, HNC, etc.) and/or significant relevant work experience - Essential
* Previous experience in a technical/mechanical Team Leader role - Essential
* Technical background in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation
* Excellent communications skill
