Restaurant Manager / Sommelier
London | Full-time | £45,000 + tips & tronc | Sponsorship Available
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager with Sommelier skills to lead the Front of House at an intimate, high-end dining venue in London.
This is a sole Front of House role ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering a world-class, personal service in a fine dining or Michelin-starred environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage all Front of House operations and personally serve guests.
Recommend and serve wine, sake, whisky, and other beverages tailored to a bespoke tasting menu.
Handle stock take, ordering, compliance checks, and general back-office duties.
Manage guest bookings, communication, and feedback to ensure an exceptional experience.
Liaise closely with the chefs to create and update beverage pairings for the evolving menu.
Maintain high standards of service, hygiene, and dining room presentation at all times.
Manage billing and payment processes accurately and efficiently.
About You:
WSET Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent sommelier training).
Previous experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred environments.
Strong knowledge of wine, sake, whisky, and beverage pairing.
Excellent service and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and confident working independently.
Eligible to work in the UK sponsorship available for the right candidate.
Role Details:
48 hours per week.
Every second Tuesday working from home (admin day).
Sunday and Monday closed guaranteed two consecutive days off.
£45,000 per year, plus extra tips and tronc.
