To learn more: We are Pearson. About the role The Investigations team conducts investigations into suspected malpractice affecting our International, UK, GQ and VQ qualifications. Investigations will include candidate, teacher and centre malpractice, centre maladministration, breaches of security and non-compliance with qualification specifications, regulatory policies and codes of practice. The Investigations team Intern’s responsibilities will include: Support the Investigations team to ensure that investigations are conducted in a timely and robust manner. Conduct investigations into suspected malpractice involving candidate, teacher and centre malpractice, centre maladministration, breaches of security and non-compliance with qualification specifications, regulatory policies and codes of practice in a timely, effective manner in accordance with standard procedures and regulatory requirements. Conduct proactive and reactive social media monitoring, identifying posts, groups and channels of potential concern, updating records and taking appropriate action when concerns identified. Assist the Senior Investigators and Head of Investigations in the resolution of investigations, development of working practices and reporting of data. Assist other teams in the Business Improvement and Regulation (BIR) division as and when necessary. Key requirements Final year student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Humanities, Legal, Maths or Science discipline Ability to pay great attention to detail Strong organisational and prioritisation skills Strong written communication skills, ideally developed through communication with a range of customers and stakeholders Expected to be in the office 1- 2x a week. This is a 10-week internship programme, commencing Monday 16th June 2025. You will be paid for the duration of your internship at a pro-rata salary of £27,007.50 Submission deadline Thursday 03 April 2025, or once enough candidates have applied.
