Head of English – Permanent Role – Bristol – Independent School
We are working with a prestigious independent school in Bristol that is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of English to lead their successful department. This is a permanent position starting in September.
The Role:
* Leading the English department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
* Teaching KS3 to KS5 English, with a focus on academic excellence.
* Developing curriculum plans and delivering engaging lessons.
* Supporting and mentoring staff within the department.
* Contributing to whole-school literacy initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching English at GCSE and A-Level.
* Strong leadership skills and experience in curriculum development.
