About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join the team. You will be supporting young people with autism and associated learning difficulties in a structured and nurturing residential setting, while also taking on additional responsibilities to support the team.
Key Responsibilities: ? Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
? Lead, mentor, and support junior staff members.
? Assist with daily routines, personal care, and activities.
? Support the emotional and social development of young people.
? Work within safeguarding guidelines and care plans.
? Take a proactive role in implementing care strategies and ensuring best practices.
? Engage in household tasks and maintain a safe, homely environment.
? Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and teachers.
What Were Looking For: ?? NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (essential).
?? Experience in residential childcare (essential).
?? Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
?? Patience, resilience, and a caring nature.
