Role Summary
We have an exciting opening for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join the integrated multi-disciplinary team providing bed based intermediate care at Sidmouth Community Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking service with high morale and a commitment to supporting people to return home from hospital. You will be well supported and encouraged to continuously develop your skills related to the role. We offer flexibility in working patterns and the chance to practice with true autonomy.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have an interest in rehabilitation of older people, intermediate care, multi-disciplinary working and management of patients with a wide variety of long-term conditions including complex neurological, orthopaedic, dementia and falls prevention. The emphasis is on maximising patient independence and quality of life through assessment and rehabilitation.
Working hours
Monday to Friday 8:00 to 16:00 with weekend working on a rota basis.
