My client is a leading charitable organisation based in central London seeking an interim Financial Controller to bolster their finance team on an initial 12-months temporary basis with a strong opportunity to get extended.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Managing the transactions team.
2. Helping improve the finance function and enhance efficiency within the transactions team.
3. Preparing and presenting financial statements, reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Responsible for the financial controls and processes currently in place and identifying areas for improvement.
My client is looking for:
1. A qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
2. Experience in working in the Charity sector is essential.
3. Success in managing and developing a team.
4. Experience in working with transactions teams and managing them on a daily basis.
My client can offer a flexible approach to working, with 2 days a week in the office based in central London and the rest working remotely. There is also a strong opportunity for this role to be extended or go permanent.
