An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Aseptic Services Team of the Pharmacy Department; applicants are welcomed from registered Pharmacy Technicians and Science Manufacturing Technicians. This is your opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team providing essential cancer treatments to the people of Berkshire. Our Pharmacy Aseptic Services Unit currently holds a LOW overall risk rating which was awarded during our last external Regional Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance audit in June 2023. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to support the Pharmacy Aseptic Services Unit in the provision of chemotherapy to patients within the Trust. We are looking for a qualified technician to join our small friendly Aseptic Services team. You will have recent retail, hospital or aseptic experience, good communication skills, and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice. You will also have experience of teamwork, staff supervision, training others and work planning. We welcome applications from Pharmacy Technicians and Science Manufacturing Technicians who do or do not have prior experience of working in an Aseptic Services Unit. The applicant must demonstrate enthusiasm and knowledge regarding this service. A full training programme will be provided.,

* Supervisory experience, NVQ level 3 Pharmacy services or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or SCOTVEC or equivalent and professional registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Science Manufacturing Technician, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
