Investment Consultant (Charities, Endowments & Foundations)

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Investment Consulting department, focusing on the development of our advisory services within the charities, endowments and foundations sector.
What's the role?
This is a role in the Investment Consulting department at LCP which will focus on the advisory services provided to clients in the charities, endowments and foundations sector. We focus our efforts on making sure that every client gets the right advice for their own unique circumstances. Because we are independent, we don’t have a stake in recommending any specific solutions, so clients can trust our advice implicitly.
What will you be doing?
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Supporting LCP charity-specific publications (e.g. blogs, webinars, thought pieces) either preparing materials directly and/or proposing and coordinating publications with the wider team
* Supporting the charity investment team with responding to tenders and potentially presenting at pitches
* Managing and developing existing client relationships
* Monitoring developments in the not-for-profit sector, keeping the team and our clients abreast of relevant changes
* Supporting teams with preparing standard client advice
What skills, qualities and experience are we looking for?
* Qualified/nearly qualified CFA/FIA or similar
* Demonstrable, relevant experience of working within the not-for-profit sector in an investment advisory role
* Demonstrable, relevant experience of leading and providing advice to clients in the relevant sectors
* A team player with experience of working across different teams
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work as needed
* Knowledge of investment products/product research experience is desirable
* Responsible investment/stewardship expertise is desirable
