Job Opportunity: Employment Solicitor/Associate (4-6 PQE)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
A well-regarded law firm in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor/Associate to join its busy Employment department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advise on employment law matters, including contracts, redundancy, family rights, and discrimination.
2. Draft legal documents like contracts, settlement agreements, and employee communications.
3. Provide corporate support on employment issues arising from transactional work, including TUPE.
4. Defend claims in the Employment Tribunal, including unfair dismissal and discrimination.
5. Contribute to business development through client seminars and articles.
Requirements:
1. 4-6 years’ PQE in employment law with employer-focused experience.
2. Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
3. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently.
