Are you an Optometrist looking for a more clinical career? If so, think about practising in Wales.
In October 2023, a new contract for the delivery of eye care services in the community came into force in Wales – Wales General Opthalmic Services (WGOS). Under the new regulations, optometrists will be able to fully utilise their professional higher accreditations when delivering eye care at primary level.

We have a wonderful team in place who all pull together and create an amazing working environment. Ammanford is also easily commutable from Swansea within 40 minutes. Plus we also have our sister store in Carmarthen, so if you fancy working across both practices for a more diverse caseload and change of scenery then this is also possible.
This is a great practice for anyone wanting to develop their career, both clinically and professionally. Colleague development takes centre stage whether you want to obtain higher accreditations such as IP or are interested in becoming a director yourself one day. We are committed to fostering growth and providing opportunities for colleagues to reach their full potential and our senior management and directors are on hand to offer guidance and support.
