Key Responsibilities as Group Financial Accountant:
* Financial Reporting & Consolidation Prepare monthly and quarterly group financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
* Budgeting & Forecasting Compile and analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic decision-making;
* Cash Flow Management Control group cash flow, ensuring financial stability within set parameters;
* Statutory & Management Accounts Prepare the annual consolidated statutory accounts and ensure compliance with regulations;
* Internal Audit & Compliance Conduct internal audits, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and manage risk;
* Business Partnering Work closely with divisional Finance Managers, supporting them with financial strategy and performance analysis;
* Financial & IT Systems Contribute to system improvements and financial reporting enhancements across the group;
* Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and key external stakeholders.
* Acquisitions & Projects Support acquisition due diligence, integration, and financial modelling as opportunities arise;
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred) with strong technical accounting and group reporting experience;
* Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems knowledge;
* Experience in group consolidations, cash flow management, and internal audits;
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills;
* Ability to influence decision-making through high-quality analysis and communication;
* A confident, ambitious individual;
* Willingness to travel occasionally to UK and overseas sites;

Holiday: 24 days annual plus 8 statutory days
