Job description: Engineering Manager Manchester Blow Moulding department 40 hours per week, Monday Friday Were seeking an ambitious and experience Engineering Manager to join us in Manchester The purpose of an Engineering Manager at Muller is to lead the Blow Moulding Engineering team to deliver a best in class Engineering and Technical service, whilst supporting the safe delivery and improvement within manufacturing. As Engineering Manager you will provide effective leadership with strategic implementation of a cost effective plant/equipment reliability, covering statutory and mandatory compliance. Engineering Manager Key Responsibilities: Ensure Engineering team operate fully within Health & Safety compliance standards Perform regular 1-2-1's, PDP discussions with team to drive performance Management/direction of contractors and suppliers Ownership of the Muller Engineering Excellence improvement roadmap for blow moulding Development and management of an effective planned, preventative, reactive and remedial maintenance system including CMMS Coordination and direction of team workload to meet business needs Deliver on Engineering Excellence strategy and improvements Support Site Audits in delivering (maintaining) BRC and ISO accreditation standards Prioritisation, implementation of blow mould efficiency improvements, continuous improvement projects, capex project prioritisation with budgetary implementation of management of site Engineering budget (controls) Delivery on time in full of Continuous Improvement projects to support performance Encourages all to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace, and converts these to own Continuous Improvement actions at all levels Proactive Management of sickness, performance or disciplinary issues Responsibility of engineering budget / spend / Capex / Project improvement controls and site engineering team Whats required to become an Engineering Manager?
