Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of #TeamCBC!
We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants to help improve our local communities in Charnwood.
Are you highly organised, with the ability to plan, prioritise and risk assess within a fast-paced environment? Do you have good interpersonal skills and take pride in your ability to make a difference in communities? If so, we want to hear from you.
We have two positions available; one permanent contract and one 3-year fixed-term contract.
The main duties will include:
1. Participating in multi-agency working, with internal and external partners.
2. Using your initiative to effectively case manage a range of ASB cases, from first report to conclusion of the case, including legal action when required.
3. Managing ASB cases in line with the incremental approach, using your knowledge of legal and statutory frameworks.
4. Identifying and managing risk levels of all parties involved in an ASB Case.
5. Planning and prioritising effectively to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
6. Attending partnership meetings and community engagement events.
7. Providing support and signposting to domestic abuse survivors.
8. Maintaining accurate records.
9. Participating in an officer cover duty rota.
10. Supporting vulnerable residents involved in ASB.
11. Travel throughout the Borough using your own transport.
You will be required to pass an enhanced DBS and Non Police Personal Vetting 1 (NPPV1).
