A new and exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager is available with my client who are a leading manufacturer of spray booth systems, service plans and energy upgrades. Their ideal candidate will be sales driven and customer focussed, have a proven customer facing technical sales background and have sold engineered products or services. This role offers opportunity to progress within the company to Director level in the long term. Technical Sales Manager role: The role will be home based covering the UK. Reporting to the Sales Director and receiving support when required from the internal sales team, you be responsible for: • Generating leads for sales of my client’s market leading energy efficient products. • Energy control system upgrades, Retro fit air movement systems, LED light conversions, gas fired burner conversions and Energy measuring packages. • Develop relationships with new and existing customers, with a view to securing business for our “special works upgrades or service and maintenance contracts. • Manage selected key accounts where experience / relationships suit. • Introduce new accounts through own initiatives for potential service business. • Form relationships with Distributors, Paint Companies and specifiers to obtain leads for the full range of my client’s products and services. • Attend industry, award and relationship building events Technical Sales Manager requirement: Proven technical / engineering related product sales background. Spray booth or associated equipment / machinery sales experience beneficial but not essential. Strong relationship builder / customer focussed. Proven successful experience managing and building new and existing customer base. Full UK driving license. Technical Sales Manager package: Salary £40k - £50k uncapped commission Company car, laptop, mobile phone, Health insurance and Pension scheme, 23 days holiday bank hols Shutdown over Christmas
