The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef to join our clients team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work 40 hours per week across 4 x 10-hour shifts, including alternate weekend working, with the latest finish time at 9:00 pm. Salary on offer is just over £32,000 and this role is a permanent offering. In this role, you will: Prepare and serve meals to our residents across breakfast, lunch, and dinner times. Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen. Occasionally oversee the catering team, offering leadership and guidance. Assist with other kitchen tasks, including ingredient preparation and maintaining cleanliness when required. Assisting as a Kitchen Assistant when needed without a drop in pay and supporting the Chef on shift As part of a multi-site role, you will work across different kitchens within the Burgess Hill site. What We’re Looking For A City and Guilds 706 1 & 2 qualification (or equivalent), along with a current Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate. At least 2 years’ experience in catering or a similar role.
