Job Title: Platform Monitoring and Controls Engineer

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience
What you'll be doing:
* Taking a leading role in the delivery of key Platform Monitoring and Control (PM&C) scope as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Working with stakeholders at various levels across the Hunter Programme
* Providing specialist engineering expertise to review supplier deliverables and resolve technical issues
* Developing, maturing, and integrating the controls and monitoring design solution into the Wholeship Platform Design, both functionally and physically
* Supporting the PM&C team in Australia in resolving technical queries with UK counterparts and the supplier, and representation of PM&C to UK program stakeholders
* Liaising with project management and supply chain stakeholders, providing technical support for supplier engineering change proposals
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experience working on complex system design within a Marine or Defence environment
* Previous experience in the initial stages of the design lifecycle
* Ability to work autonomously and liaise with stakeholders at various levels
Desirable:
* Proven capability in the design of Control Monitoring and/or Instrumentation Systems
* Large scale complex programme experience
* Experience in complex physical and functional integration of systems
* Knowledge of other combat system equipment and/or knowledge of auxiliary, electrical or HVAC systems
Applicants should ideally be Degree qualified or have equivalent experience, likely to be in a technology, engineering, science or IT related discipline. Applicants should be a Chartered Engineer or hold another equivalent professional registration with a relevant institution.
