Consultant Ecologist - East Midlands (Flexible Working Available)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Ecological Surveys: Conduct field surveys, habitat assessments, and protected species work.
2. Reporting: Prepare ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA) and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
3. Project Support: Assist senior team members with project planning and delivery.
4. Client Communication: Collaborate with clients, providing ecological advice throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the ecology team to ensure the successful completion of projects.
What You'll Bring:
1. Experience: 2-4 years in ecology or a related field.
2. Education: Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline.
3. Technical Skills: Familiarity with EIAs, UKHab surveys, and protected species work is a plus.
4. Professional Membership: Ideally a member of a recognised body (e.g., CIEEM) or willing to join.
5. Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required.
6. Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the UK.
