A Typical Day in the Job: Helping to resolve support tickets related to servers, desktops, laptops, and upgrades. Responding to alerts for patching, backup, and device performance. Delivering proactive, scheduled IT tasks and maintenance. Managing and resolving tickets promptly and professionally. Learning from experienced IT engineers and gaining exposure to a variety of technologies. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge: A genuine passion for IT and a desire to pursue it as a long-term career. A hard-working attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Basic understanding of computer hardware and software. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. A Grade 5/C in GCSE English and a Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £17,000 per annum. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Performance-related, discretionary end-of-year bonus. £1,000 individual training budget. 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays. Buy and sell holiday scheme.
