Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a leading international practice in their central Bristol office.
Our client’s employment practice is widely regarded as a leader in the UK legal market.
The thriving employment team are looking for a talented mid-level associate to join them to provide practical, commercially focused advice on both domestic and cross-border employment issues.
This role offers exposure to a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious work, supporting all partners in the group and collaborating with employment teams across their global offices.
This dedicate team specialise in the full spectrum of employment law matters, including:
• Employment Litigation: Handling discrimination cases, whistleblowing claims, contractual disputes, boardroom issues, and enforcement of restrictive covenants.
• Diversity & Inclusion: Crafting advanced policies, interpreting data, and delivering training on D&I matters.
• Corporate Support: Guiding clients through acquisitions, disposals, and corporate transitions.
• Data Protection: Advising on compliance, email monitoring, and handling subject access requests.
• Employment Documentation: Drafting contracts, policies, confidentiality agreements, handbooks, and IP protection clauses.
• Executive Termination Advice: Providing guidance on senior-level departures.
• International Employment Support: Standardizing employment practices across jurisdictions, addressing mobility issues, and harmonizing documentation.
•Outsourcing: Navigating legal and operational complexities.
• Restructuring & Change Management: Planning and implementing redundancies, revising terms and conditions, and negotiating collective agreements.
• Union Relations: Advising on industrial action, recognition applications, and grievance procedures.
The successful candidate will have around 3–6 years post-qualification experience from a leading City or regional firm and should be prepared to take on significant responsibility and have a keen interest in international employment law. You will have strong technical expertise together with exceptional drafting and communication skills.
