Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyse cost estimates for various construction projects.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and perform cost-benefit analyses.
3. Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with the budget.
4. Collaborate with project teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
5. Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
6. Evaluate and manage risks associated with cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for management review.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and associated costs.
4. Proficiency in using cost estimating software and tools.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of surveying experience (required)
Licence/Certification:
Full UK Driving Licence (required)
