We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join a specialist setting in Doncaster. The school are looking for a qualified Teacher with experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1). The school provide education for vulnerable and diverse children aged 5 -14 years who are unable to attend education in a mainstream setting. The students have various diagnoses including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, attachment disorder, speech and language difficulties, medical needs and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel safe and motivated to learn.
- Provide high-quality, individualised teaching and learning experiences for students who may have experienced disruption in their education.
- Deliver engaging lessons that cater to each student's unique needs.
- To help all students achieve their full potential, regardless of their challenges.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a SEND or SEMH setting.
- Awareness of the challenges related to SEMH and a strong passion for supporting vulnerable students.
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
- Team Teach trained (preferred, but not required).
- A strong commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the school.
