Temp to perm Drivers Mate Needed- Lichfield (Monday to Friday, 4am Starts)
Are you looking for an easy, reliable role? We are hiring a Drivers Mate to assist our client's driver in making 3 deliveries per day to stores in London. This is a straightforward position with minimal physical work – your main responsibility will be to stay in the van while the driver handles store deliveries.
ideally need van driving experience and would like to progress to class 2
Key Details:
Location: Starting from Lichfield, working on a customer site.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4am start times. Typically, 8-hour days.
Pay Rate: from £11.44 per hour.
Workload: Easy job! Minimal unloading – just stay in the van while the driver delivers.
Responsibilities:
Stay in the van to ensure it's manned at all times while the driver makes deliveries.
Assist the driver as needed, but there will be very little physical work involved.
Requirements:
Punctual and reliable.
Comfortable with early morning starts (4am).
Able to stay alert and focused while waiting in the vehicle.
