The Role: As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth across the UK by introducing our innovative panel products into new markets and expanding our client base. You’ll work across industries like construction, agriculture, and civil engineering, leveraging your expertise in taking construction products to market. The role offers plenty of autonomy, allowing you to manage your own time while travelling to meet clients and enjoying the flexibility of remote working.
Full training will be provided to ensure you're well-equipped to succeed in this role and become a valuable member of our growing team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Taking our established panel products into new markets within the construction, agriculture, and civil engineering sectors.
2. Identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and introducing our products to new companies and clients.
3. Managing the full sales cycle – from generating leads to closing deals and driving long-term business relationships.
4. Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and exceptional service for our clients.
5. Meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining flexibility and autonomy in your schedule.
6. Keeping up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to ensure our products remain competitive and in demand.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience in taking construction products into new markets: You have a strong background in introducing construction products to new companies and industries, expanding product reach and driving growth.
2. Experience in construction products or a related field: You’ll have hands-on experience within the construction product sector or similar, with a deep understanding of the industry and its needs.
3. Proven Sales Expertise: A track record of success in business development, with the ability to generate new business, build relationships, and close deals.
4. Self-Motivated and Results-Driven: You are a goal-oriented professional with the ability to manage your time effectively, work independently, and meet targets.
5. Excellent Communication Skills: You can present complex construction products in an engaging, clear manner and establish strong relationships with clients.
6. Full Training Provided: Experience is essential, but we’ll also provide comprehensive training to ensure you have all the tools and knowledge you need to succeed.
