Contract Duration: 19th August - 6th October
Hours: Part-time (minimum 22.5 hours per week)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused Occupational Therapy specialist assessments and interventions to a defined caseload across various wards, including the Assessment ward, Treatment wards, and the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions based on the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO).
2. Deliver recovery-focused and evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
3. Manage a defined caseload effectively across the Assessment ward, Treatment wards, and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit.
4. Utilize recognized outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of assessments and interventions.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and recovery outcomes.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of Occupational Therapy services and initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
7. Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant registration (e.g., HCPC).
8. Proven experience in delivering Occupational Therapy within mental health settings.
9. Knowledge and application of MOHO in clinical practice.
10. Strong ability to use evidence-based assessments and outcome measures.
11. Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
12. Ability to work flexibly and manage a varied caseload effectively.
Desirable Attributes:
13. Previous experience working in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit.
14. Additional training or qualifications in mental health and recovery-based practices.
