We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to work as an operative within our production team. This role will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of goods.
The Production Team Member will be able to learn new procedures quickly, have good communication skills and be able to work effectively within a small team.
This will be a great role for someone who wants to move to a forward-thinking company where full on-the-job training is provided, with experienced Team Leaders and Managers on hand to show you the ropes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Equipment Operation: Operate assigned production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
* Workload Management: Manage individual production tasks efficiently to meet specific deadlines.
* Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and identify any defects or issues.
* Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.
* Material Handling: Assist in the movement, loading, and unloading of raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
* Communication: Maintain effective communication with the print & production department and team members.
* Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace for yourself and all other team members.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, equipment logs, and quality control reports.
* Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and departments to troubleshoot issues, share best practices, and support overall production goals.
Person Specification:
* Education: Functional skills
* Experience: Previous experience in a print production environment or direct experience operating machinery preferred but not essential.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating production equipment and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and follow standard operating procedures.
* Physical attributes: Ability stand for extended periods, is an essential part of this role.

Working pattern:
You will be required to work an 8-hour shift system: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, on a weekly rotating basis (Monday to Friday)
Shift times and overtime requirements may vary according to business demands and you are required to work at the weekend on an occasional basis, where workloads dictate.
