Your new company
Working with a hospital in Rhyl, you will be supporting one of their critical services as a Medical Secretary, covering a gap in the team for an ongoing period of time.
Your new role
You will be full-time office-based, and will spend your time supporting a couple of consultants with comprehensive medical administration. You will be part of a mid-sized team that pulls together to work effectively and efficiently. This busy administration role will see you managing complex diaries, prioritising conflicting interests and issuing medical results. General office administration will be required, such as filing, scanning, issuing post etc. You will be a point of contact for patients and other medical staff in the hospital for the consultants. No minute taking will be required for this post.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience as a medical secretary would be preferred for this post. However, if you have worked in medical records, or any form of patient administration, you will be considered. You will be using your excellent time management and prioritisation skills daily in this busy post. A confident communicator, you will be comfortable dealing with patient enquiries via phone and have an excellent standard of written and verbal English. You will be used to managing complex diaries, and have a strong sense of initiative. This is a fully on-site post and will require a basic level DBS check to be processed.
