Version 1 are one of a handful of AWS Premier Consulting Partners, which is the highest tier of AWS Partnership available. You will be working for the AWS Practice which consists of some of the best Architects, DevOps Engineers and Consultants.
The customer engagements are varied and the exposure to cutting-edge technologies is always present. You will work in a mixture of teams to drive solutions to some of the most high-profile customers in Europe.

We have a successful learning and development programme that will allow you the freedom to take on training and certifications on the training platform of your choice.
The role is varied in scope and technology, and can entail the development of innovative solutions in the cloud, delivering cloud migration projects, and helping development teams with DevOps technologies (CI/CD pipelines, config management) etc.
Some of your objectives will be:
1. Developing the AWS Platform using Terraform, building CI/CD pipelines.
2. Working with AWS best practices
3. Helping Version 1 build our reputation with the customer
4. Use your expertise to provide thought leadership
Due to the nature of this project it will be required to be on site 4 days a week at offices based in Gloucestershire. We're open to discussing support to travel and accommodation costs if required.
Qualifications
Essential criteria:
5. Currently Security Cleared (SC).
6. Able to work on site in Gloucestershire based offices 4 days a week.
7. Experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or similar i.e. Cloud Engineer or Platform Engineer working with AWS.
8. Proficient with DevOps tooling e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS CI/CD services etc.
9. Demonstrated experience with at least one software development language such as: Python, NodeJS, Java, Ruby or similar.
10. Practical experience with Linux (RHEL, Centos) and Bash.
