Description Printing out incoming invoices, logging on Sage and issuing for sign off, updating once payments are made. Processing sales invoices, loading onto Sage Credit control, including management of accounts receivable ledger, chasing outstanding debtors and answering supplier queries Supporting the preparation of the monthly management reports. Print month end report and distribute to board Invoices and statements hard copy filing Monthly supplier statement reconciliations Daily bank reconciliation with Sage Supporting the weekly payment run process Expenses, check receipts and calculate VAT and totals Cover for Accounts Assistant Assistance with updating internal processes to drive efficiencies in the finance department Point of contact to answer queries from external auditors during annual audit Profile A successful Accountant should have: Experience in financial reporting and general ledger structuring. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyse financial reports and forecasts. Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, and MS Office, particularly Excel.
