Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Operational Manager and Head of Patient Access in the development and provision of a comprehensive, high-quality, patient-centred care service.
2. Provide responsibility for the cancer services administration team and operational management of the cancer PTL.
3. Liaise and engage with Operational, General Managers, Departmental Managers, and Clinical Staff to maintain service level agreement activity levels and quality standards for cancer pathways.
4. Collaborate with the Head of Patient Access to ensure sound operational management and continuous improvement of all areas.
5. Lead the delivery of operational performance to achieve national and local targets.
6. Monitor trusts KPI’s in line with RTT Standard Operating Procedures and Patient access policy.
7. Manage departmental budget and ensure compliance with Trust budgetary rules.
8. Implement HR and governance strategies to achieve compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
9. Foster good working relationships with other departments/agencies within and outside the Trust.
