We are currently recruiting personnel for our Clients, covering their various locations in the Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambs areas, including sites such as Wissington, Kings Lynn, Norwich, Thetford, and Bury St Edmunds.
Job Overview: Working in the Fab Shop & on factory/process plant shutdown work for maintenance and project work. Normally working 2 to 4+ weeks on a project, then ideally moving to the next project.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fabricator Fitter TIG Welder & Sheet Metal Fabrication: Working on the fabrication of sheet metal, plate, pipe, and vessels, and welding to high specifications.
2. Fitting conveyors and machinery lines.
3. Pipe Fitter Welders and Plater Welders: Fabrication, fitting, and welding pipe and plate to coded specifications.
4. Mechanical Fitters: Removal of pumps, valves, and pipe work, completing checks & reinstatement on shutdown type work plus later new installation work.
5. Pipe Fitter Fabricator: Working on industrial pipe work systems, fabrication & installation of 2 to 4 inch & 6 to 12 inch pipe work mainly.
6. Setting up for Welders who will be welding to coded specifications on dairy & thin wall, process and heavy wall pipe work.
7. Fitting valves and pumps, and working on vessels and tanks.
Hours of Work: 0730 to 1600 Mon to Fri plus overtime & weekends if required.
Pay: £18+ per hour Mon - Fri, then £22+ Sat and £25+ Sun. Payment via payment company on CIS or PAYE basis.
Term of Work: 12 to 26 weeks+
Qualifications: C&G or NVQ 3 in Pipe Fitting, Mechanical Fitting, or Welding.
Safety Cards/Certifications: CSCS Card, ECITB Safety Passport. Ideally, IPAF Mobile Platform Card. Other safety certifications such as Abrasive Wheels, First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and Fire Watching would be a big plus.
