If so, we are currently recruiting Band 5 Nurses to join our busy Urgent Treatment Centre at Rochdale infirmary and we'd love to hear from you!
The UTC is an innovative service that cares for approximately 60,000 patients a year and approximately a third of the service users are children.
You will work alongside our multi skilled diverse team that consists of Advanced and Emergency Practitioners, GP's, Associate Nurses and support staff.
Main duties of the job
You will be the first clinician that the patient meets, responsible for undertaking the clinical triage (subject to meeting competence) and completing a wide range of emergency and urgent care treatments. You will be supported to develop your experience and skills caring for our adult and paediatric presentations.
You must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a fast paced environment. Patient care must be at the heart of all that you do and we welcome nurses who can demonstrate this.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receivea full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
