Job summary:
As a Vice President or Executive Director in our Corporate FX Sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our corporate foreign exchange sales efforts, developing strategic relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the FX market, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales and client management.
Job responsibilities:
1. Be a key member of the Corporate FX Sales team, setting strategic direction and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business objectives.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their FX needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client base and increasing market share.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including Trading, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Operations to deliver seamless and efficient service to clients.
5. Monitor market trends and developments, providing clients with insights and advice on currency risk management strategies.
6. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all sales activities.
8. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging professional growth.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
1. You demonstrate extensive experience in Corporate FX Sales or a related financial services role, with a proven track record of success.
2. You have strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, products, and risk management strategies.
3. You demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. You demonstrate leadership ability, with experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
5. You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
6. You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
7. You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
