Candidate will: To learn surgical skills in Upper Limb surgery. To attend out-patient sessions and familiarise themselves with the patients and their supervisor. To learn clinical skills in history taking and clinical evaluation of Upper Limb symptoms and signs. To learn to interpret Magnetic Resonance Images of Upper Limbs. To learn the elements of rehabilitation following Upper Limb surgery. To participate in clinical research projects. To participate in research and the writing of clinical papers in conjunction with their supervisor. To create PowerPoint and video presentations at a high level for presentation at local and national meetings. To participate in teaching of colleagues and staff including physiotherapists related to elective Upper Limb work. To participate in regular clinical audits and the analysis of surgical complications and morbidity. To participate in an on-call rota, currently 1 in 10 for general Orthopaedic and Trauma admissions at Harrogate District Hospital
