Role: Account Manager - Rental Location: Shenton House, Andover, Hampshire Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 Hours: Mon to Thur 8am to 5pm, Fri 8am to 4.30pm Shenton Group is on the lookout for a diligent and efficient Account Manager to join our growing Rental team What’s the role? As an Account Manager within the Rental Team, you will be required to provide and deliver a consistently efficient, accurate and professional level of service to colleagues and clients, all while acting as an ambassador of the Shenton Group brand. You will need to have strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires management of Key Accounts and B2B relationship building as well as, but not limited to, supporting the tender and bid function, weekly forecasting, managing opportunities, taking client requests and progressing enquiries through the sales pipeline. What do you need? You need to have a positive proactive approach to engaging with your role and your colleagues. Experience of a hire department would be beneficial but is not essential if you have the right attitude and are quick to learn. Standard IT skills are required and experience of SAP Business One, or similar, would be beneficial. You need to be organised, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment. You need to be confident in building B2B relationships, working under pressure to meet tight deadlines and have a can-do attitude towards challenges. Commercial acumen and an excellent telephone manner are also essential. Self-motivated, organised and the ability to work to process unsupervised is required.
