Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Social Worker/Senior Practitioner within the Family Help Team to work Full Time based in Redbridge.
The salary for this Senior Social Worker/Senior Practitioner job is up to £56,607 per annum.
Main duties:
1. You will be fully demonstrating the level descriptors in the PCF of Experienced Social Worker. You will work autonomously and demonstrate expert and effective practice in complex situations, assessing and managing higher levels of risk, striking a balance between support and control, liaising with a wide range of professionals, including more senior levels.
2. You will chair a range of meetings, offer expert opinion within the organisation and to others.
3. You will offer expert support to case conferences and produce high quality assessments and reports for a range of functions.
4. You will model good practice, setting expectations for others, and take responsibility and be accountable for the practice of others, mentoring newly qualified social workers, and supervising the work of less experienced practitioners.
5. You will undertake capacity-building with individuals, families, communities, user groups, and voluntary organisations, and contribute their views on service provision to commissioners.
Requirements of this Senior Social Worker job:
1. A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
3. Registered or eligible for registration.
